Pirates Ahoy!

A Pirate Doll for Pieter!

Pieter is my two year old grandson

So far so good! He is begining to come to life now that he has arms!

More knitting in the hat than I expected, but it's taking shape - should be all finished this weekend.

This pattern is from Jean Greenhowe's Storybook Dolls.

I used Red Heart Sport yarn except for the face and hands - LionBrand Babysoft Cream.

I made this for Lukas, my Grandson.

I used Sirdar Pattern No. 3806 from

I bought the 1lb cone in White and as there was still some left, I made a cap and bootees from Erika Knights "simple knits for cherished babies" ( a very lovely book) you can see it here:http://www.amazon.com/Simple-Knits-Cherished-Babies-Knight/dp/1855859262

Again, I used 3mm knitting needles to make this cap and matching bootees - So cute!
